2026-58: W1 Waverider Buoy Off Station

Mariners are advised that the ‘W1 Waverider’ buoy is off station for essential maintenance from 19 June 2026 until approximately 24 June 2026.
The W1 Waverider is normally stationed 100m NW of the Sunk W1 buoy:
Location Position – 51o 52.626’ N 001o 41.036’ E (WGS84 datum) – see diagram in PDF version below.
Description – A Datawell wave rider buoy – 90cm spherical yellow buoy with a 2m fiberglass antenna with LED light. Flash sequence is 5 yellow flashes every 20 seconds.
A further local notice to mariner will be issued when the buoy is back on station.
