Maritime Festival 2019

The annual Maritime Festival returns on Saturday 27 July, 11am – 6pm promising new and exciting attractions around Harwich Quay and Harwich’s iconic Ha’penny Pier.

The much-loved festival will reflect both the town’s rich maritime history and its vibrant creative community, with an exciting sea and land based programme intended to attract thousands of people from across Essex and Suffolk.

Organised by Harwich Haven Authority, there will be over 50 traders, live entertainment and must-see water based activities going on throughout the day.

Please be aware that a road closure along The Quay, will be in place on 27 July 2019, 7am to 7pm.
The closure was sought from Tendring District Council in November 2018 and it was made public in January 2019. We are trying our best not to cause too much disruption by staging an event that will benefit lots of people. If you have any questions, please call 07425 632090.
