Salary £30 – £33k depending on experience | comprehensive benefits package | permanent contract
We are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to provide first line and second line support to the Authority’s users, offering excellent customer service, and supporting the department to ensure the successful delivery of IT services.
The role includes a wide range of duties to provide 1st line and 2nd line support to resolve any IT related issues across the entire IT estate including desktops, phone, tablet and server related issues. You’ll also have exposure to specialist services, including vessel traffic control and radio communications systems.
You will be passionate about IT with a drive to learn and develop your knowledge and skills further, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build strong working relationships across the organisation whilst maintaining high levels of customer service.
We would welcome applications from anyone who has experience in 1st line support and has had exposure to 2nd line support. Ideally you will have experience of technologies including Microsoft Windows 10, Terminal services/Remote desktop, Office 365, Virtualisation technologies (VMWare), Sophos AV and MDM.
